Contestant Terms
Draft last updated September 2026
1. Applies to contestants
These terms apply specifically to individuals who create a contestant account and submit an application, in addition to the general Terms and Conditions and Competition Rules.
2. Consents you provide
During registration you are asked to give separate, specific consent for the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Contestant Rules, your public profile being shown, use of your submitted photographs and media, and receiving communications. Each consent is recorded individually and can be reviewed from your dashboard.
3. Accuracy of information
You confirm that the information and photographs you submit are accurate, current and your own to provide. Providing false or misleading information may result in rejection or disqualification at any stage.
4. Photographs and media consent
Photographs you upload are stored privately and are only made public if you consent to a public profile and your application is approved. Approved photographs may be used by the organisation for competition-related promotion as described in your media consent, which you may withdraw by contacting the organisation, subject to content already published or committed to partners.
5. Withdrawing your application
You may withdraw your application at any stage before the final event by contacting the organisation. Withdrawal does not remove consents already exercised in good faith, such as previously published content, except as required by applicable law.
6. Public profile content
If approved, your contestant number, biography, personal cause and approved photographs may be shown publicly. Contact details, identity information, and your private application answers are never shown publicly.
